Westrchem ® H-08 is a cost-effective monoacylglyceride , It is an important class of non ionic surfactants. It contains one lipophilic long chain alkyl group and two hydrophilic hydroxyl groups, thus possessing good surface activity, excellent properties such as emulsification, lubrication, softening, and wetting, and non-toxic. It is widely used as an emulsifier in food processing and cosmetics.
1. Monoglyceride is considered the safest food additive when applied to food.
2. It is used as an emulsifier for cosmetics and medical creams such as skin care grease, cold cream, emulsion, hair cream, etc., as well as an antistatic agent for fiber finishing agent, polyethylene, polypropylene, foam polystyrene, etc.
