Compatibilizer, also known as compatibilizer, refers to an additive that promotes the combination of two incompatible polymers with the help of intermolecular bonding force to obtain a stable blend, which refers to the polymer compatibilizer.

PE-g-ST, PP-g-ST, ABS-g-MAH, PE-g-MAH, PP-g-MAH, etc., are used in plastic modification to obtain blended materials with good performance.

At present, the best compatibilizer is usually grafted with maleic anhydride, and maleic anhydride monomer and other monomers are more polar and have better compatibility effects.

Maleic anhydride grafting compatibilizer is a polymer interface coupling agent, compatibilizer and dispersion promoter by introducing strong polar reactive groups to make the material have high polarity and reactivity. It is mainly used for halogen-free flame retardant, filling, glass fiber reinforcement, toughening, metal bonding, alloy compatibility, etc., which can greatly improve the compatibility of composite materials and the dispersion of fillers, thereby improving the mechanical strength of composite materials.

Maleic anhydride grafting compatibilizer can improve the compatibility of inorganic fillers with organic resins, improve the tensile and impact strength of products, achieve high filling, reduce resin usage, improve processing rheology, and improve surface finish.
