China Plastics Processing Industry Association Plastic Additives Professional Committee 2023 Annual Meeting and 2023 Plastic Additives Production and Application Technology, Information Exchange Meeting was held in Changsha, Hunan Province, December 20-24, 2023, the theme of the meeting was "green low-carbon industry chain to help the warehouse new-intelligent digital promotion of high-quality development". 304 representatives from plastic additives manufacturers, plastics processing enterprises, colleges and universities, scientific research institutes from all over the country attended the meeting, and 26 papers were presented at the conference.
Wang Leiguang, vice president of China Plastics Processing Industry Association, was invited to attend the meeting and delivered a speech. Wang Leiguang, vice chairman of the plastics processing industry, 2023 the first three quarters, the plastic products industry, the economic operating indicators better than expected, the production of plastic products continued to rebound, profit margins were upward trend, exports narrowed year-on-year decline. Wang Leiguang, vice chairman of the plastics additives industry, put forward four requirements: First, to strengthen the basic technology research, promote the transformation and development of plastics additives enterprises: Second, to strengthen upstream and downstream exchanges and cooperation to carry out the strong and stable chain of action; Third, to strengthen the green safety and wisdom to change the number of turn awareness, to achieve high-quality development; Fourth, to build a platform for cooperation and exchange and continue to improve the level of service.
The conference released the latest scientific research results and development direction of plasticizers, flame retardants, heat stabilizers, antioxidants, light stabilizers, lubricants, impact modifiers, schooling agents and other plastic additives, covering the whole industry chain of plastic additives: attention was paid to the study of environmental protection process in the production and application of plastic additives, in particular, high-performance membranes in the VOC, solvent treatment applications, loop reaction and separation of integrated system in the green and efficient applications in chemical production. Chemical production in the green and efficient application: on the recycling of plastics, both the use of waste PET plastics to prepare high-quality DOTP industrialization of key technologies, but also the recycling of waste plastics from the sea ranch and additives in the plastic regeneration and recycling and the use of the discussion; for the production of high-performance polymers for the energy environment and energy storage batteries. These are conducive to help enterprises understand the national policy guidance, to achieve industrial upgrading and high-quality development. Participants also had warm and full exchanges outside the venue.
